Department of Art HistoryMgr. Kateřina Adamcová, Ph.D.
Místnost č. 416
She specializes in the fine arts of the early modern period, especially Czech Baroque sculpture. However, she also pays great attention to the problems of monument care, the technology of restoration and conservation of sculptural works, drawing on her many years of work at the National Heritage Institute. She has contributed to a comprehensive inventory of Marian, Trinitarian and saint columns in Bohemia and has also published several revealing biographies of neglected Baroque sculptors of northwest Bohemia.
